Indian skipper Virat Kohli completed his 11th anniversary of Cricketing career yesterday. Back on 18th of August, 2008, Virat Kohli debuted his first cricket as a teenager. Kohli took to Twitter to post his forever grateful moment.

  • So far, Virat has played 386 international games with an average of 56.63
  • He bagged 53 Man of the Match and 16 Man of the Series awards in international cricket.

The right-handed batsman debuts his first ODI for India against Sri Lanka at the age of 19. Intially, he was picked as a reserve player, with his immerse batting effort he found himself as a middle-order batsman in the squad.

In 2011, Virat made his Test debut against West Indies. As the well established ODI player, Virat smashed a ton in Australia and South Africa in 2013 and on the same year Virat Kohli reached the number one spot in ICC rankings for ODI for the first time.

Virat Kohli made his T20 debut against Zimbabwe in 2010. Kohli also found success in Twenty20 by winning the Man of the Series award twice in ICC World Twenty20 in 2014 and 2016.
